This Photo is actually from last year. I was driving to work when I had to pull off the road and capture the view.
The fog on the ground, the clouds above the horizon, the deep blue sky above…They all came together to make it easy to compose this shot…

I was on my way to work one morning, camera bag on the floor, when the sunrise in my rear-view mirror caught my eye. Deciding that I could afford to be a few minutes late, I turned off my normal route and went looking for a view…This is what I found.
I used the original file to work on my PhotoShop techniques. This may be over processed for some, but I like the Thomas Kinkade feel of the light on the grasses and the flowers…

Actually it’s not the backyard. This shot is from under the oak trees that line my driveway. Most of what you see is the neighboring property next door.
On quite a few mornings as I would begin my trek into work, I would walk out to my truck and be captured by the morning light. So I would throw my briefcase in and take the camera from it’s bag and wander over to take a shot or two to begin the day…What a way to start your day. Contemplating the beauty of nature before going to the office.

An early road trip with my new digital camera yielded this shot just after sunrise of the fishing pier on Galveston Island…
